Antutu’s annual chart on the most powerful smartphones of the year has been released and the iPhone 6s/6s Plus are included in the list. The latest Benchmark V6.0 comes with iOS support for the cross platform performance assessment and Apple’s brand new pair takes the lead.
According to the Antutu report, iPhone 6s (Plus) scored 132K points and this makes it 2015’s most powerful Smartphone of the year. More thorough graphics were included in the new benchmark version and Apples’ A9 chip whose GPU king inside is currently undisputed may have contributed to this.
The iPhone 6s was closely followed by the Huawei Mate 8 which scored 93K points. This device comes with a Kirin 950 chip inside that is paired with a 1080p display for strong performance.
The resolution (Full HD) on the Meizu PRO 5 helped it to beat the Samsung’s own flagships whose Exynos 7420 has to deal with more pixels (78% more).
What came in the sixth position was the older generation iPhone pair i.e. iPhone 6 (Plus), and this was followed by OnePlus 2 which is the top-ranked Snapdragon 810 device.
What followed in the list were the LeTv 1Pro and then Xiami Note Pro. The chart was finally rounded up by the Nexus 6P.
